TAEDEL301A Provide Work Skill Instruction

Overview

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to conduct individual and group instruction and demonstrate work skills, using existing learning resources in a safe and comfortable learning environment. The unit covers the skills and knowledge required to determine the success of both the training provided and one's own personal training performance. It emphasises the training as being driven by the work process and context. This unit supports a wide range of applications across any workplace setting and so can be used by any organisation. Its use is not restricted to training organisations.

This qualification is delivered online providing you with the flexibility to complete the training when and where you wish. You will be fully supported throughout the learning process by qualified trainers from Accredited Online Training (AOT), Australia's leading provider of online qualifications.

• Individual over-the-phone inductions with a facilitator who will step you through the process and answer any queries;
• Unlimited mentoring and support services by qualified training via a toll free phone number or via email;

Course Content

On completion of this course, you will be able to:

• Organise instruction and demonstration;
• Conduct instruction and demonstration;
• Check training performance;
• Review personal training performance and finalise documentation.

All assessments are conducted online and you will receive feedback from your assessor within 48 hours (except when there is a Public Holiday). Holistic or major assessments may take up to seven days. Assessments may include multiple choice and/or short answer questionnaires, portfolios, case studies, and in some cases video and/or workplace based evidence may also be required.

Duration

Maximum nominal hours: 50

Maximum 3 months access to online course (approx. 10-20 hours to complete each unit). This should include completing both the online training module and the associated formal assessment component.

How to gain your qualification faster?
Recognition of Prior learning (RPL) is the acknowledgement of the skills and knowledge that you have gained through previous studies, work and life experiences. If RPL is granted, this will mean that you will not have to complete the study or assessments for a unit or units of competency. Please read the student handbook for more information.
