We understand there are very few opportunities for high-level professional development opportunities for public sector executives and leaders. 

That’s why  iQ Training delivers a range of high-level programs that provide short, sharp and thought provoking development opportunities such as our Master Class series and Executive Leadership Lunches. 

Inspiring Executive Leadership Program

IPAA Queensland, in partnership with UQ Business School and the Public Service Commission (PSC), are proud to introduce a brand new leadership program specifically for Senior Officers and Executives working in the Queensland Government.

The Inspiring Executive Leadership Program (IELP) is designed to provide both Senior Officers and Executives with a clear pathway to develop their leadership skills within the sector across four key modules:

1. Inspirational Leadership
Dates: 15 March - 18 March 2010

2. Innovation Leadership
Dates: 31 May - 3 June 2010

3. Government Leadership
Dates: 30 August - 2 September 2010

4. Strategic Leadership
Dates: 8 November - 11 November 2010

All modules of the IELP are mapped to, and aligned with, the Queensland Government’s Capability and Leadership Framework (CLF). By referring a Senior Officer or Executive from your organisation to the Program, you are helping Queensland develop the skills and abilities of tomorrow’s leaders.

Flexibility and accreditation
Flexibility is key to this program and participants can complete just one or all four modules. Upon completion, they will be equipped with all the necessary skills, knowledge, courage and vision to demonstrate outstanding leadership in any sector or organisation. Options to extend to accredited training and a Masters in Business are also available.

How to apply

  1. Download the nomination form here
  2. Complete the nomination form and gain an endorsement from an appropriate executive in your organisation
  3. All nominations are to be submitted to:
