Overview
This one-day course is aimed at people who are either new to planning or would like to make their planning processes and plans more meaningful and useful. The course guides participants through a complete planning process, from diagnosis to evaluation, and provides the opportunity to practise a range of planning techniques along the way.
Course Content
This course explores the whole process and framework of planning, and identifies what makes plans work. It includes environmental analyses, vision/direction setting, goal setting, identification of priorities, development of strategies and SMART performance measures, assignment of responsibilities and risk management. It follows this up with the actual writing, communication and implementation of the plan.
