Performance Management for the Public Sector Executive

Overview

We all know that one of the most difficult challenges for any senior manager is to balance the competing requirements, generating the outcomes required of their position and to positively manage the performance of their staff.

The recently published State of the Service Report identified poor performance management practices as one of the primary areas requiring attention for senior staff throughout Queensland.

In partnership with Mercer Australia, IPAA Queensland presents its newly developed Performance Management Masterclass, aimed at supporting senior and executive management to build their skills and to ensure performance-related barriers are removed from the work environment.

Course Content

This Masterclass will cover the latest research, trends and best practices in performance management and will focus on the critical role the leader plays in supporting and leading it.

Participants will explore driving accountability and responsibility across the organisation through linking and cascading goals, measurement and continuous improvement.
