Organisational Risk Leadership Intensive

Overview

This two-day intensive was developed in response to demand for a short, sharp version of the existing program. It is designed for participants who have to travel, or who prefer a condensed program. Over two active days, participants will be taken on a thinking and practice journey that will permanently expand their understanding of the nature of organisational risk and how best to deal with it.

Course Content

Over the last two years, IPAA Queensland's highly successful three-day Organisational Risk Leadership Masterclass series has provided participants with powerful new 'systemic' risk thinking, enabling them to find, understand and manage underlying risks before a disaster occurs. It is supported by practical, proven tools and frameworks.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course attendees should be able to:

• have a significantly increased awareness of the nature of organisational risk, including critical kinds of risks that are often not well understood or managed;
• have new tools and methods for gathering raw risk data;
• understand new tools for finding, representing and validating risks; and
• understand new tools for analysing organisational risks to find the key shared drivers and points of leverage for the management of risk.
