Overview
We face change everywhere we turn. One of the few certainties in life is change. Effective change management in the workplace is critical if the organisation is to succeed and it is a challenging exercise given employees varied understanding of the drivers and need for change, and their ability and readiness to change.
Course Content
This one-day course has been designed to equip supervisors and managers with a set of simple yet practical and effective skills to effectively manage change in the workplace. The course builds on the theory of change with a “hands on” individual and group exercises, and culminates with a Case Study.
Course Outcomes
By the end of this course attendees should be able to:
- identify the need for change, the change drivers, and articulate an argument for change
- identify the information requirements, where and how to source the information, and how to assess and interpret information
- describe and apply a range of change management methodologies and techniques
- assess the readiness to change and facilitate and lead change
- develop and implement a continuous improvement environment
