Our Structure
As a non-profit organisation, we have an elected State Council, with a range of working sub-committees. We also have a team of highly skilled staff who deliver services on a day to day basis.
IPAA Queensland provides a huge range of services and activities. In order to keep our finger on the pulse, we need to make sure we have skilled, committed people involved directly in our decision-making processes.
As a member of IPAA Queensland, you can nominate to join our Council. It’s a great way to get involved and give back to the sector. It’s also a great way to get new skills and increase your networks.
Elections are held in the lead up to our AGM in September of each year so if you want to get on board make sure you’re a Member! Click here for more information on membership.

Our Events Committee works to identify the current issues, topics and speakers that are relevant to our audiences at events and conferences. They also look at the strategic benefits of each event or conference and help plan the overall events calendar.
Finance and Risk Management Committee
Our Finance and Risk Management Committee, in association with the other Committees, sets targets for financial plans and budgets. The committe is also responsible for monitoring the financial position of IPAA Queensland.
Ad-hoc Committees
From time to time, we form committees for a specific purpose and time. Adhoc committees are mainly for large, special events such as conferences.
